Over 300 of the continent’s leading corporates, FIs, regulators, risk managers, lawyers, insurers and trade experts will convene at the Westin Cape Town on March 9-10 to assess the growth of one of the world’s fastest-developing regions.
GTR Africa Trade Finance Week returns for its 11th year in 2017, which for the first time also includes the annual West Africa Trade & Export Finance Conference for specific focus on key francophone markets.
Discussions will turn to the extensive trade, export, commodity and infrastructure financing opportunities available across the continent, with Peter Ndoro, Journalist & Broadcaster at SABC providing the opening keynote address.
This year’s event welcomes over 50 speakers, including three of the biggest state-owned enterprises who, following the morning sessions, will be making themselves available for meetings with delegates throughout the course of the afternoon.
With a variety of formats, this two-day dual-stream event offers a flexible agenda addressing a wide range of issues surrounding the risks and opportunities available across the continent.
“In an ever-changing global environment, including events such as Brexit, Trump and ongoing concerns over protectionism, Africa remains a market of immense potential for those prepared to invest the time and effort,” says Jeff Ando, Production Director at GTR Events. “This year’s gathering will both reflect on those global events as well as the latest developments in the local market, bringing business leaders from across the continent to debate key themes, compare experiences and share new ideas.”
